這場比賽兩軍形成投手戰，光芒隊先發投手Chris Archer前5局都讓洋基隊無功而返。

陸客銳減，不僅旅行社倒閉，飯店也出現關門潮，為避免出現骨牌效應，觀光旅遊業十二日將北上陳情，希望蔡政府接受九二共識，讓老百姓有飯吃。
陳姓旅遊業者說，台東很多飯店、餐廳、珠寶店靠陸客撐，近來已有中悅、夏威夷等飯店因陸客人數減少關門歇業，憂心再這樣下去，十月以後將出現骨牌效應，將波及餐飲、洗衣店、珠寶、土產行等產業。
中悅飯店吳姓前員工說，總統大選後就接不到陸客，人事成本加租金負擔重，今年六月飯店關門。台東市某酒店六月風光開幕，李姓業者說，試營運期住房率還有六、七成，現只剩一成多，十月以後更可怕，很多飯店一團陸客都沒有，上街是逼不得已。
新政府推動新南向政策，知本高野飯店經理黃慶安說，台灣會講印度、越南、泰國、柬埔寨等國家語言的人員不足，甚至連來自東南亞國家新移民的第二代，都不懂媽媽的母語，如何推動南向？
張姓飯店業者說，新政府南向政策，等到有成效也是好幾年之後的事，到時可能已有不少同業死翹翹。
